The High Throughput Screening Core at Vanderbilt University needed a set of figures to illustrate the concept of a thallium flux assay. These figures were the centerpiece of an award-winning poster at the 2008 SBS convention in St. Louis.
Jennifer Mandel is the world's foremost expert on the whorled sunflower, an endangered species. Jennifer needed a website to advertise her research and qualifications to others in her field.
The Vanderbilt High-Throughput Screening Core needed a poster to advertise their services and equipment.
The Todd Giorgio lab at Vanderbilt University conceived of a handheld chip reader device. They asked me to draw an isometric mockup of the device as the feature figure of a grant proposal.
Chinmay Soman is a researcher who worked with antibody-conjugated quantum dots as part of his doctoral research. He has contacted me on several occasions asking for figures to illustrate how quantum dot-antibody constructs can be used to quantitatively detect proteins in serum.
